means an all consuming desire to resign

last night i had this dream i keep having now and then, of being on a scary car ride. my friend’s sister was the driver, speeding on an intricate highway overpass. i thought i would die every time she missed a turn and passed overboard the fence, but the car just kept falling with a terrible noise on another highway underneath.

reading this has filled me with fear and foreboding, because my most common type of dream is the car anxiety dream. i’m typically cruising along in a car i don’t know how to drive, then i careen over the edge of an unfinished ramp. but on good nights the car starts to fly! then everything’s groovy in dreamland.
