no rest for the stupid
I haven’t had a vacation this year because we’ve been too busy at work, with several back-to-back releases. I wasn’t even allowed to take a three or four day weekend when we went to Surfside last month because we had so much work to do. I was waiting until the fall to figure out vacation plans because I was under the impression that the release we just finished would be the last until next year. No such luck — there’s another project just for me, and it needs to be finished by December 24th! December 20 if I hustle! So no vacation this year. Hooray for me!

Jacob! That’s no good! You need to take a vacation - that’s too long to slave over a computer. Worst case scenario: use it to write a fab resume for a job with ample vacation time?
