daylight savings
this post is written in 3/4 time. i am just home from my second night in a row at numbers, tonight being danseparc, the better of the two. last night was 80's night, which i hadn't planned on attending but there i was at 2:15am dancing to the church's "reptile." tonight the last song was sadly not "the last song" by trisomie 21 but a song off the forthcoming magnetic fields album. but they played the psychedelic furs' "heartbreak beat" not too long before that, so it's all right. and david bowie's "be my wife." there's some stupid song by a band called jet that i hate because it makes me think it's "a town called malice" by the jam and then it isn't, it's this tedious gap commercial instead. it's false false advertising. the strange thing? the bartender knew what i wanted without my having to tell her. i ask you, is this really me?
